AI For Business Specialization
Overview
I completed the AI For Business Specialization, a four-course online programme from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, offered through Coursera. It is written for people who will work alongside AI rather than build the models themselves: how the technology works, where firms are putting it to use, and how organisations should adopt and govern it.
The courses started with the fundamentals of machine learning, deep learning and big data, then moved to application — natural language processing and consumer analytics in marketing and finance, and AI in HR decisions, including how data privacy is protected in people management. The final course covered AI strategy and governance: how organisations use AI to drive digital transformation and keep a competitive edge.

AI Fundamentals for Non-Data Scientists
The foundations: machine learning, deep learning and big data, and the data management tools firms use to improve processes and innovate. Taught by Kartik Hosanagar and Prasanna Tambe. Completed 21 September 2026.

Natural language processing and consumer analytics applied to marketing, and how AI informs financial decisions. Taught by Michael R. Roberts, Raghu Iyengar and Kartik Hosanagar. Completed 22 September 2026.

AI in HR decisions, and how data privacy is maintained in people management, including the use of blockchain in HR functions. Taught by Prasanna Tambe, Matthew Bidwell and Peter Cappelli. Completed 24 September 2026.
